In 1995, Ginny and George Eccles decided "phooey!" Enough of working for the man every night and day. So they started working for the woman. Together, they opened up What Goes Around... and never looked back.
Ginny became fascinated by furniture at an early age, while watching her grandfather make chairs, tables, wash stands, bed boards, and chests drawers out of the black walnut trees on their farm in Indiana. She studied color and design along with her recreation degree at Indiana University in Bloomington. Once she moved to Arizona, she was mentored in home decorating and interior design by Jim Favor at the well-known upscale furniture store, Barrow's. From 1993 - 95, she ran a smaller furniture and accessories store called Ecclections. Now, in addition to owning and operating What Goes Around..., she works in professional Home Decorating and Interior Design Consulting. More than anything else, she loves working with people. George has been a professional photographer for over 35 years. He first studied under Master Photographer, Cordy Cook, learning Portrait and Wedding photography. He taught Photography and Graphic Arts for 4 years at Westwood High School, and 7 years at Mesa Community College and Phoenix College. In 1971, he was hired as a Portrait Photographer for Joston's American Yearbook company. Starting in 1973, he opened and operated his first studio, Photography By George, which he expanded in 1987 by purchasing Hollett Photography. George began his commercial photography career in 1978, by taking Construction Progress photos for ASU's new science building. He enjoyed the process so much, he continues to take commercial jobs to this day. An avid golfer and a member of Sun City Del Sol Rotary since 1987, he currently runs Hollett Photography out of What Goes Around...
They recently celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary, enjoy their home on a lake, have 7 children between them, and will be pleased to introduce you to their new Scottish Terrier, Ivan (yes, sometimes "the terrible"), the official greeter at What Goes Around...
